Who we are من نحن
mowkib.com is an independent initiative that connects and empowers mowkibs around the world — and keeps the culture of Husayni remembrance alive. mowkib.com مبادرةٌ مستقلّة تَصِل المواكب حول العالم وتُمكّنها — وتُبقي ثقافة الذكرى الحسينية حيّة.
We are not a single mowkib, and we do not speak for any one organization. mowkib.com is a global home for the movement as a whole: a place to find mowkibs, to learn how to run or start one, and to keep the memory of Ahl al-Bayt present in the world. لسنا موكباً واحداً، ولا نتحدّث باسم أي منظّمةٍ بعينها. mowkib.com بيتٌ عالميٌّ للحركة بأكملها: مكانٌ للعثور على المواكب، ولتعلُّم كيفية إدارة موكبٍ أو تأسيسه، ولإبقاء ذكر أهل البيت عليهم السلام حاضراً في العالم.
Part of our work is simply to bring to light what a mowkib is — to those who have never encountered one, and even to Shia who have not yet seen this tradition up close. A mowkib is service born of remembrance, offered freely and without condition. Shown plainly, at the scale of the whole world, it speaks for itself. جزءٌ من عملنا أن نُجلّيَ ما هو الموكب — لمن لم يلتقِ به قطّ، بل حتى للشيعة الذين لم يَرَوا هذا التقليد عن قرب. الموكب خدمةٌ وُلِدت من الذكرى، تُقدَّم بسخاءٍ وبلا شرط. وإذا عُرِض بوضوح، على مستوى العالم كلّه، نطق عن نفسه.

Our mission رسالتنا
- Connect.نَصِل. Build a worldwide directory so any person can find a mowkib near them. نبني دليلاً عالمياً ليجد كلُّ شخصٍ موكباً قريباً منه.
- Empower.نُمكّن. Give people the resources to run, improve, or start a mowkib. نمنح الناس الموارد لإدارة موكبٍ أو تحسينه أو تأسيسه.
- Remember.نَذكُر. Keep Husayni culture and the hayʾāt of Iraq present for a new generation. نُبقي الثقافة الحسينية وهيئات العراق حاضرةً لجيلٍ جديد.
- Illuminate.نُجلّي. Show the world — and the wider Shia community — what a mowkib truly is. نُري العالم — والجالية الشيعية الأوسع — ما هو الموكب حقّاً.
